The International Trade Centre’s (ITC) Supply Chain Management (SCM) programme has been recertified for the standard measuring quality management principles, ISO 9001:2008.

An audit reviewed the programme’s quality management system, evaluating the continued fulfilment of the standard’s requirements. A reassessment of the standard – which the SCM programme received in 2012 – is conducted every three years.

ITC’s Modular Learning System in SCM delivers training, through local partner institutions, to the business community and professionals working in procurement, operations, logistics and inventory management of products, from the source to the point of consumption.

Participants can select from 18 modules, take exams and gain internationally recognized professional certification. Every year, approximately 4,000 people receive training on an average of six modules, with over 5,000 exams taken.

The International Organization for Standardization recertification validates the SCM programme’s delivery of quality products and services to its customers and the effectiveness of its quality management system.

The SCM programme is delivered in 48 countries through partnerships with more than 70 partner institutions. Read more information on ITC’s Supply Chain Management programme webpage.
