ITC Checklist on EUDR Tools and Technological Solutions
The International Trade Centre (ITC) has published a list of key criteria to support informed decision making among EUDR tools and technological solutions.
Navigating a multitude of providers
With the application of the EU Deforestation-free Products Regulation (EUDR) from 30 December 2024, a large range of tools and technological solutions have entered the market to support compliance.
These cover some or all of the seven commodities and derived products in scope of the regulation and vary widely regarding functionalities.
A checklist for informed decision making
ITC’s Checklist on EUDR Tools and Technological Solutions (which can be downloaded here) offers an overview of key considerations to better understand and assess these offerings.
The list maps criteria to assess if the approaches address:
-
Essential requirements
-
Key requirements of the Due Diligence Process
-
Additional considerations
Through increasing understanding of the offer, this tool aims to enable informed decision-making and increase transparency for players considering adopting solutions aiding EUDR compliance.
Result of a collaborative process
